CHILDREN’S CHOIR
The Children’s Choir will meet this
Tuesday at 4.30pm, and have a bit of a party! We are planning music workshops
during the school holidays – any 7-13 year-olds are welcome to come these,
even on a one-off basis! Two definite dates are Saturday morning, August 23rd
and Saturday morning August 30th. A third date is in the pipeline but not yet
confirmed. The 100

NUMBERS SOLD!!! The July draw will take place today! THE BISHOP OF ST HELENA The Rt. Rev’d John Salt, OGS, Bishop of St Helena, will be
celebrant and preacher next Sunday, July 27th – our 140th Dedication
Festival. MONDAY, JULY 14th – THE 175th ANNIVERSARY OF THE OXFORD MOVEMENT Well done to all those who
turned up and filled the Church with prayer last Monday. The Hour of Prayer
had a lovely atmosphere. ROBERT “DIGGER” BARNES R.I.P. Digger’s funeral
takes place at S. Mary in the Castle, Dover, on Wednesday July 23rd, at
11.00am; followed by burial at Shorncliffe Military Cemetery at 12.30pm, and
a wake at the Garrison Commander’s mess, Risborough Barracks, Shorncliffe
Camp. Everyone is very welcome to any or all of these events. There will also
be a requiem mass here at S. Peter’s at 8.00am that morning, to which people
are welcome to come. |
